What is the Difference between the SUNSET HILLS PTA AND FOUNDATION?

We like to say that the “P” in PTA stands for Programs (aside from Parents) and the “F” in Foundation stands for Fundraising. We hope this helps you remember the difference! The Sunset Hills PTA puts on the Programs that our students and families enjoy, including the Science Fair, Around the World Night, Red Ribbon Week, Talent Show, Staff Appreciation, Math Olympiad, Lego Club, Trunk or Treat, and much more! The Sunset Hills Education Foundation provides funding to Sunset Hills Elementary School in areas such as staffing, technology and equipment, campus improvement needs, and more. It also provides financial support to the Sunset Hills Elementary PTA.
